Prayer
for the Spread of Adoration

Heavenly Father, increase our faith in the Real presence of your Son Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. We are privileged to adore Him, to give Him thanks and to make reparation for sins. We need your peace in our hearts and among nations. We need conversion from our sins and the mercy of your forgiveness.

May we obtain this through Prayer and our union with the
Eucharistic Lord.

Please send down the HOLY SPIRIT upon all peoples to give them the love, courage, strength and willingness to respond to the invitation to
Eucharistic Adoration.

We beseech You to inspire parishes all over Ireland to have weekly Adoration of the most Blessed Sacrament. We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord. Amen

Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament help us to spread the glory of your Son through weekly adoration. Amen

Pray for us.

Act of Consecration for the Eucharistic Adoration Apostolate

I promise to spend at least one hour per week in Adoration before the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. I promise to work in communion with my brothers and sisters in the Eucharistic Adoration Apostolate in a spirit of unity and love.
Heavenly Father, acknowledging the Real Presence of your only begotten Son Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, and knowing His great desire to be loved and adored, after giving Himself totally on the Cross, out of pure love for all people, I consecrate myself to my Lord Jesus Christ, truly present in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar.
Out of love for Jesus and for others, I commit myself to do what I can to spread Eucharistic Adoration, so that more people may come to know the love of Our Lord and Saviour through this special Apostolate.
I offer up all the efforts and sacrifices of this work and join them to the sacrifice which Christ the Eternal Priest offered on the Cross.
I consecrate my efforts in this work through the Immaculate Heart of Mary to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, which radiates God’s love through the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar.

"Go to adoration as one who would go to heaven, to the divine banquet. Our Lord will give us audience of grace and love. He is waiting for us. He is longing for us."
 (St. Peter Julian Eymard)

“The Church and the world have a great need of Eucharistic worship.  Jesus waits for us in this Sacrament of Love.  Let us be generous with our time in going to meet Him in adoration and in contemplation that is full of faith and ready to make reparation for the great faults and crimes of the world.  May our adoration never cease.”
(Pope John Paul II, Dominicae Cenae, February 1980)

“It was not until 1973, when we began our daily Holy Hour that our community started to grow and blossom."
(Mother Teresa of Calcutta)

"What wonderful majesty! What stupendous condescension! O sublime humility! That the Lord of the whole universe, God and the Son of God, should humble Himself like this under the form of a little bread, for our salvation."
(St Francis of Assisi)
